Employers wishing to ‘sponsor’ migrant workers on an accredited employer work visa from February 2024 will need to pay at least $31.61 per hour to support a 5-year work visa.

Accredited employer work visa holders will not be able to support partners for work visas unless they are paid at least $31.61 per hour.

Furthermore, applicants wishing to apply for residency will also need to be at least $31.61 per hour in order to qualify under the Skilled Migrant Category and Green List categories.
